What many find to be a black hole on one side of the realm, inside is really a whole new realm. It is full of space and life. Galaxies that crumbled in one realm had come here with new life. It is constantly expanding at the cost of other realms, and will continue to do so until otherwise.

This is where all foreign ships will have to pass through if coming from another realm.
