Red sand stretched for hundreds of miles, forming thousands of large sand dunes across the land. The winds carried sands, forming small ripples and waves over the lands. The closer the desert grew to the evening, the stronger the winds would become and the cooler the air would get. At it's current point, it was the afternoon and four hours of daylight remained.
The desert lands seemed to have two suns, but in truth there was only one sun. The bright orange sun was much closer to this planet than any normal planet with life could handle. With such a close range, the Sun used to red sands like a mirror to make another red sun appear in the sky. This Sun would also create extremely high temperatures, but somehow the winds seemed to keep the planet cool enough to prevent destruction.
As another side effect of the Sun that was somehow ineffective on these deserts was the Gravity. The planet was huge, but it spun in space at the exact speed of Earth, carrying a centrifugal force that was supported by a Magnetic Core that only had one pole. This Magnetic Pole had the same core structure as the Sun. This seemed to keep the planet in a perfect circular orbit around the Sun.
Gravity was twice the amount of Earth's, meaning if you weigh one hundred pounds on Earth, you now weigh two hundred pounds. Only the strong would dare roam a desert land such as this. Red sands, white sky, and orange Sun; these seemed to be the only colors available is the forsaken land. Many would wonder why such a planet exists if unable to sustain any natural humanoid or AI life for one entire day.
Everything in this universe has a reason and this planet was no exception. What many viewed as a planet was more or less a giant incubator for something. Whatever it was, it was coming to life now. A power that any religion would deem as the devil and any government would deem an extreme threat. The power seemed to be a beacon that called out to any warrior within the realm that was capable. Only when the warrior arrived would the reason for this planet reveal itself.
